This 60 minute webinar was be chaired by leading Professor of Obstetrics at King’s College London and Head of the Women’s and Children’s Health section of St Thomas and Guys Hospitals in London, Andrew Shennan, OBE and members of his team, who together volunteered over 6 years and with substantial support from, inter alia, The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, to develop the only specialised mobile testing device for early stage, life threatening pregnancy irregularities (pre-eclampsia) and foreseeable, potentially fatal childbirth complications. The session includes latest reports from current, large-scale preventive testing programs: Uganda, Sierra Leone, Karnataka (India).
